B&M’s donation to help the homeless in Manchester

Last Christmas B&M donated £20,000 to Mustard Tree, to help them continue to support the homeless in Manchester. Homelessness in the city is increasing so it is vital that projects are put in place to give those living on the streets the support they need, with the long-term aim of getting them employment and a house to live in.

B&M donation helps local bereaved families

B&M have donated £20,000 to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT) so that they will be able to ease the financial difficulties bereaved families may face when repatriating the bodies of loved ones, who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances, back to Ireland.

B&M funds essential respite support for Dorset and Wiltshire children with life-limiting illnesses

B&M have donated £20,000 to Julia’s House which is enough to provide 333 respite sessions to parents with a seriously ill child, meaning they will be able to get the practical and emotional support they often need when caring for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

B&M boosts local hospital’s chances of buying Scotland’s first life-saving endoscope

Thanks to a donation of £20,000 from B&M, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity are one step closer to purchasing the Neurosurgical HD Endoscope. The Endoscope will act as a critical surgical tool for young patients in life and death situations due to brain tumours or hydrocephalus. The only other children’s hospital in the United Kingdom to have this equipment is Great Ormond Street in London.

Discount retailer funds hospice care for children suffering with life-limiting illnesses in East Anglia

B&M has donated £20,000 to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices to help them continue providing specialist care and support for seriously ill children and their families which will enable them to get the medical and emotional support they need in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Local Cancer Charity Receives £20,000 Boost in Fundraising Thanks to B&M

Last year B&M raised a staggering £20,000 for The Candice Colley Foundation based in Hoylake. Candice Colley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in 2006 and after many years of treatment and fighting back at the disease, Candice sadly died on Monday 27th December 2010.
