Last year B&M donated £20,000 to the Children’s Hospice South West which creates a home from home environment for seriously ill children and their families. The donation has enabled them to continue to get the medical and emotional support they need in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
The charity supports local families throughout its three hospices which are; Little Harbour in mid-Cornwall, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Charlton Farm near Bristol.
Lorna Damella, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for CHSW said: “The team at Children’s Hospice South West are absolutely delighted to receive this fantastic donation from B&M which will allow us to provide a haven where everyone can begin to forget their worries, be a family again and find expert help and support in facing an uncertain future.
“We currently support more than 400 families across the South West and this donation will enable us to continue supporting those families with respite breaks, palliative care, emergency stays and end of life care. The support continues for families through bereavement and beyond, with a listening ear only ever a phone call away.”
