Make Your Own Glitter Lamp
You'll still be enjoying the festive glow of your beautiful Christmas tree but it can't stay up forever! Let your child create their very own Glitter Lamp and keep them glowing all year round.
Switch the Christmas lights on and place their freshly decorated lamp alongside the tree. Snuggle up on the couch and enjoy some family films!

Get creative with just a pair of scissors and some white paper! Just follow these easy steps for a beautiful festive decoration: the classic, homemade paper snowflake!
- With a square piece of paper, fold diagonally into a triangle, and do so twice more
- Fold one corner of the triangle across the other in a complete overlap
- Cut straight across the bottom, taking away the two points
- Cut the paper in a variation of straight and curved lines
- Gently unfold to realise your creation!

I’m sure you've lost count of the number of times you and the kids have played the board games in the house, right?
Well, how about making your own and enjoying some family time playing them together?
Simply get some paper, cardboard, pencils and other decorative craft accessories. Think of an idea with your little one and let them take the lead in creating the best board game ever!
B&M Top Tip: Don't forget you can buy all your arts and crafts essentials at your local B&M - from paper, card, glitter, pencils, paint, chalk and much more!
Shoebox Home for Toys
If there is one thing kids love, it’s being creative and getting messy while doing it. Get an old shoebox out of the wardrobe and let them stick empty toilet rolls, cardboard and other household items inside to create a home for their toys.
They’re sure to have been given plenty at Christmas, so they’ll need somewhere for them all to play!
Plus, while they’re busy making it, you can sit back, put your feet up and relax – you might just grab 5 minutes to read that bestseller you were bought for Christmas!
