Ingredients
- Your favourite pasta (100g per person)
- Tuna (half a tin per person)
- Grated cheddar (30g per person)
- Grated parmesan (20g per person)
- Mayonnaise (2 tablespoons per person)
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Sweetcorn (a tablespoon per person, optional)
- Green pepper, finely chopped (a quarter of a pepper per person, optional)
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- Boil a saucepan of water on the hob and add a pinch of salt.
- Add your pasta and boil it for 8-12 minutes. The longer you boil it, the softer it will be.
- Drain the tuna and tip it out into the mixing bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise, salt and black pepper to the bowl, along with the sweetcorn and green pepper if you’re using them.
- Drain the pasta using the colander and add it to the bowl.
- Begin to stir the mixture together, making sure it’s well combined. As you stir, sprinkle in the cheddar a little at a time.
- Spoon the mixture into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the parmesan evenly over the top. This will create a delicious crust.
- Place the dish into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top of the bake turns brown.
- Remove from the oven, serve and enjoy!
B&M Top Tip: The tuna, mayo and cheese mix also goes great in jacket potatoes or baked sweet potatoes!
