By using frozen berries you can create a fresh, tasty smoothie that you can make at any time of the year. However, you may benefit the most from this delicious concoction during the summer months when you need a fruity, chilled drink to enjoy at breakfast or during the day.

Ingredients

  • 450g bag frozen berries
  • 450g fat-free strawberry yogurt
  • 100ml milk
  • 25g porridge oats (optional)
  • 2 tsp honey (optional)

Method

  1. Blend the berries, yogurt and milk together until smooth enough to drink.
  2. For a bit of added flavour or sweetness, feel free to stir through porridge oats and honey when serving. If you have any leftovers, bottle up and drink within 1 day.
