Recipe: Mother's Day Box

Ingredients

Nutella Truffles
• 226g Chocolate
• 125ml Double Cream
• 30g Butter
• 295g Nutella
• 145g Finely Chopped Hazelnuts

Cake Bites

• 250g Store Bought Cake
• 1-3 Heaped Teaspoons Chocolate Frosting
• 200g White Chocolate
• Food Colouring
• Sprinkles

Method

Nutella Truffles:

1. Over boiling water, melt chocolate, butter & double cream until a smooth mixture is formed. Take off the heat and mix in Nutella
2. Leave to chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours
3. Remove from fridge and form into balls
4. Coat in finely chopped hazelnuts

Cake Bites:

1. Finely crumb a cake and mix in chocolate frosting until the mixture can be formed into compact balls
2. Mix melted white chocolate with food colouring and coat the balls in the chocolate mixture
3. Leave to set in the fridge for at least one hour

Package everything in a nice box with your mum's favourite treats!
