Healthy Smoothie Recipes: Strawberry & Flaxseed

A heavenly fruity and beautifully bright smoothie to combat those dark early mornings. Flaxseed is bursting with Omega-3 fatty acids (the ‘good’ fat, that is) and is known to be good for the heart. Strawberries? Well they're just so damn good!

Ingredients
- 80g strawberries (frozen or fresh)
- 150g low-fat yoghurt
- 2 tbsp of flaxseed
- Ice (optional)
Method
- Add ingredients to a blender (or use an electric whisk in a deep bowl) and blend to desired consistency.
