Wycombe Homeless Connection Helps to Open Brand New B&M Store

The long-awaited brand new B&M store in High Wycombe was officially opened this morning, much to the joy of local customers.

The new store, located on High Street, has created more than 35 jobs for locals.

A wide range of branded products are available to purchase, including toys, food & drink, homeware, electricals, pet products, health & beauty and much more.

The new colleagues were tasked with picking a charity to act as VIPs on opening day, and they picked Wycombe Homeless Connection.

They provide support to people who are homeless, or are at risk of becoming homeless, by offering a range of services, including help accessing emergency accommodation, support with emergency food packs, social support and benefits, and much more.

As a thank you for all of their hard work in the community, B&M handed the charity £250 worth of vouchers.

The store manager said: "Wycombe Homeless Connection really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done, especially during the pandemic. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work.

“Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M store.”
