Washington Store Relocation Complete in the North East
07 August 2020
The long-awaited grand reopening of B&M's Washington store has arrived.
Moving to a much larger unit has allowed B&M to hire more people from the local area.
The larger store can now offer customers a much bigger range of products across all departments. They can expect to find a wide variety of brand products, including toys, food & drink, pet products and health & beauty, including a brand new garden centre!
The colleagues selected a local hero, Carol Chasyney, who has collected toiletries and food for staff and patients at the local hospital throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a reward, B&M rewarded her with £250 worth of vouchers.
The store manager, Tracy Bamford, said: “We know there have been lots of people who have done amazing things for our local community over the last few months.
“We hope that our donation can help treat Carol and show how much the community really appreciates the hard work.”
She also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open and show customers their brand new B&M.”
