Third B&M Store Opens in Romford
29 November 2014
Romford celebrated the opening of it’s third B&M store on Saturday after the variety retailer secured new shop premises in Greater London.
Huge crowds turned out for the ribbon cutting event at the new B&M Bargains store on the Rom Valley Retail Park.
As well as low prices on big brands, the arrival of the new store has created another 50 jobs on the site of the former Dreams; a significant boost to the local economy.
Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products from its convenient location in Romford including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home, electrical and seasonal ranges.
Terry Beazley, Store Manager at B&M Rom Valley said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area. I am delighted that we’ve found a great team from in and around Romford for our third store in the town.
“We’re really proud to be have created another 50 jobs this year and continuing to play our part in the local community.
The new store follows hot on the heels of the recent B&M opening at the Goodmayes Retail Park and brings the total number of jobs created by B&M across both stores to 90 this year.
