New B&M Store Provides Irvine Jobs
05 November 2014
B&M proudly opened it’s latest store in Irvine today, creating 40 jobs in the town.
The store opening was well received by locals who will benefit from the arrival of one of the UK’s leading variety retailers. Located at the heart of the town centre on Lamont Drive, shoppers can expect thousands of bargain priced products from groceries and toiletries to home and electrical ranges.
B&M was PROUD to invite representatives from the Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation to officially open the store and cut the ribbon. The local charity helps children and young people suffering from heart disorders by supporting families and helping to grant small wishes. The foundation received £250 worth of B&M vouchers having been nominated as a worthy cause by the store’s own colleagues.
Area Manager, Gary Barr said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and I’m proud we’ve found a great team from in and around Irvine for our first store in the town. We’re really proud to be creating 40 jobs and playing our part in the local community.”
“We are excited to get the doors open. We have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide great value products and world class service to our customers”.
