New B&M Creates Another 40 Jobs in Chadwell Heath
24 September 2014
B&M has created another 40 jobs in Chadwell Heath after opening a new shop at the Goodmayes Retail Park in the town.
The finishing touches were made to the 11,000sq ft store which opened on Wednesday 24th September.
B&M invited some very special guests to the opening of its new store on the Goodmayes Retail Park in the town.
The 11,000sqft Bargains store was officially opened by representatives from the Osborne Partnership; a charitable organisation offering training and work opportunities for people with learning difficulties. The charity was nominated by the store colleagues and received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for opening the store. The ribbon cutting was undertaken by Amber Wall (Support Worker), Jackie Heley (Service User), Jim Hopkins (Service User) and Ginger Chand (Charity Shop Manager) alongside B&M Store Manager Terry Beazley.
Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products from its convenient location on the High Road including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home and seasonal ranges.
The new B&M Bargains store is the company’s seventh store in Essex and follows hot on the heels of last week’s store openings on the Isle of Sheppey as well as Abingdon and Didcot in Oxford too. With over 390 stores nationwide, B&M continues to actively seek opportunities to expand further across the South of England.
Terry Beazley, Store Manager at B&M Chadwell Heath Goodmayes, said: “We’re really proud to be opening a second store in Chadwell Heath and continuing to play our part in the local community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the grand opening and made it such a fun morning”
“We were excited to get the doors open on Wednesday and have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide great value products and world class service to our customers”.
