Leeds Welcomes Second New B&M Store in a Week
03 August 2019
Customers in Leeds were delighted this morning following the unveiling of their brand new B&M Store in Kirkstall.
Over 50 people from the local area have been employed at the store, which can be found on Savins Mill Way. It follows the grand opening of another new store in Cottingley last week.
A wide range of branded products are available to purchase, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.
As part of the opening day process, colleagues nominated local charity, Mind Leeds, to be given some VIP treatment. They helped unveil the new store in front of happy customers.
The charity helps local people recover from periods of poor mental health, and live life independently with their condition through a variety of resources.
In addition to helping to open the new store, she was given £250 worth of vouchers to spend for the charity.
The store manager, Roger Mitchell, said: “The team at Mind Leeds really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open on Saturday and show customers their brand new B&M.”
