Breckland Retail Park in Thetford Welcomes New B&M Store

Customers in Thetford were delighted this morning following the long-awaited opening of their brand new store on Breckland Retail Park.
Over 60 people from the local area have been employed at the store, which contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.
As part of the opening day process, colleagues nominated local charity, Charles Burrell Centre, to be given some VIP treatment. They helped unveil the new store with the Lord Mayor, Cllr Brenda Canham.
The centre helps support education, community groups and local business growth by letting the former classrooms and offices for local people to use.
In addition to helping to open the new store, the foundation were given £250 worth of vouchers to spend.
The store manager, Mark Ellis, said: “The team at Charles Burrell Centre really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open on Friday and show customers their brand new B&M.”
