B&M Upgrades to Bigger and Better Store on Market Street, Wellington, Telford

After receiving feedback from local customers who wanted an even bigger store with more products to shop, B&M Wellington shut its tills for the final time on Saturday 3rd August 2024 to relocate to an even more impressive location.
Customers didn’t have to wait long before B&M reopened again at 8am on Saturday 10th August at its new unit on Market Street, Wellington, Telford. This new space, a former Wilko store, provides 13,981sqft of sales space, providing customers with a larger range of products to shop.
The store manager at B&M commented: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”
For the grand unveiling this morning, B&M store colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity who they think deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do in the local community. They chose the team from Not Just Charity to step into the spotlight and aid in cutting the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the doors and welcoming in customers.
Not Just Charity are a waste prevention project, saving roughly 100 tonnes of food from landfill every month. They run community fridges, food banks, pet food banks, and fundraising discount stores. They are for everyone, regardless of income or background. The project saves enough food to fill multiple supermarkets – and they need as many people as possible to visit so they don’t have to pay to dispose of the food.
The store manager of B&M also said: “Not Just really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
B&M Wellington is now officially open to the public and has so many exciting products for customers to shop, including groceries, pet food & accessories, homeware, health & beauty, DIY, toys, games, gifts and so much more to explore.
