B&M Thrilled to Open Brand New Discount Store in Earlestown, Newton-Le Willow

This morning at 8am on Friday 28^th March, store colleagues gathered outside their brand-new B&M store to officially open the doors and welcome in their first customers.

Located in Earlestown, Newton-Le-Willow, the long-awaited arrival of this B&M store can now provide the community with amazing discounts and must-have items, while boosting the local economy and providing locals with 38 new jobs.

The B&M store manager, said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors; the feedback so far has been fantastic.”

After taking possession of a previous Wilko store, the unit has undergone an extensive internal and external development programme to create the known and loved B&M layout that covers a sales space of 15,407sqft.

For the official unveiling of the store, B&M colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity who they think truly deserves the spotlight for all the hard work they have done. They chose the team from Newton-Le-Willows Sea Cadets to take centre stage and cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the grand-opening of B&M Earlestown.

Newton-Le-Willows Sea Cadets aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, they teach the children to learn teamwork, respect, loyalty and other life lessons.

The store manager also commented: “A big thank you to the team at Newton-Le-Willows Sea Cadets who helped us open the store; we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do.”

In addition to opening the store, the team will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers, which will go towards helping the charity to continue doing the great work they do.
