B&M Supports Key 103 Mission Christmas Appeal with Trolley Dash

08 December 2015

B&M hosted its annual trolley dash in support of one of the UK’s biggest children’s charities.

Cash for Kids aims to raise awareness of child poverty throughout the year and is currently accepting toy and cash donations through its Key 103 Mission Christmas appeal.

Donations will be given to underprivileged children across the UK to give them something special to look forward to on Christmas morning.

In support of the Cash for Kids charity, B&M hosted a ‘Supermarket Sweep’ style trolley dash, where they were joined by Key 103 Radio presenter Debbie Mac and students from Parrs Wood High School.

They had exactly one minute to speed up and down the aisles of B&M’s Urmston store at Trafford Retail Park, Manchester and collect as many toys and gifts as they could.

Over £2000 worth of goods ended up in the Cash for Kids trolley to be donated to the charity’s Mission Christmas toy appeal.

And you can see how Debbie and her helpers got on with their trolley dash in the video below!

If you would like to help a child in need this Christmas, you can drop off your donation at a participating B&M store or make a cash donation.

Visit the Key 103 website to find your nearest B&M drop off or to donate in a different way.
