B&M Sets Up Shop on Northumberland Retail Park

B&M was welcomed to Northumberland Retail Park in Shiremoor with open arms today following the latest store opening in the region.
Eager customers queued on Wednesday morning, keen to be the first customers through B&M's doors.
As part of the opening day festivities, Pathways4all were nominated by store colleagues as their chosen charity, donating £250 worth of vouchers as a thank you for all of the hard work they do for the community.
The charity offer help, support and activities to families with a disabled child/children. They do this through a variety of different services such as short breaks, weekly coffee mornings, activities for siblings and much more.
Alongside the charity, the Lord Mayor, Cllr Norma Redfearn, was in attendance.
The store, which has created 50 new jobs in the region, contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.
The store manager, Adam Beech, said: “The team at Pathways4all really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
