B&M Sets Up Shop in Catterick
20 November 2015
B&M has expanded its reach in North Yorkshire after opening its latest store in Catterick.
Based on Gough Road, adjacent to Catterick Leisure Centre, the brand new B&M Home Store comes as a welcome boost to the community, offering increased retail opportunties in the area and providing more jobs.
The new B&M store adds to the ever-growing presence of out-of-town, retail park outlets. The Home Store stocks all of B&M's usual, well known bargains like grocery and toiletries and will also sell homeware, toys and electrical ranges, to name a few.
The store was officially opened on Friday by Councillor John Robinson who cut the ribbon to mark a special day for B&M.
Representatives from Help for Heroes were also invited to take part in the opening ceremony and were presented with £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for their involvement.
Ken Green, store manager at B&M Catterick, said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and we are delighted we’ve found a great team from in and around Catterick.
“We’re really proud to have created further jobs across the town this year and to continue to play our part in the local community.”
Ken added: “We have been excited to get the doors open today and honoured to have representatives from Help for Heroes and Councillor John Robinson cutting the ribbon to officially mark the opening of our new store.”
