B&M Sets Up Shop at Kentigern Mall in Penicuik

Customers in Penicuik were in excited moods this morning as their brand new B&M Store in Kentigern Mall opened.

The latest B&M store, which has hired more than 30 locals, will allow customers to experience the variety retailer’s great selection of branded and own label products.

With everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet, there’s plenty of items for visitors to the B&M store to shop.

And store staff were delighted to welcome Food Fact Friends Foodbank as their VIP, who were invited to cut the ribbon on opening day.

Food Fact Friends Foodbank is a local charity that provides nutritionally balanced food parcels and support for individuals and families in Penicuik.

In addition to opening the new store, the charity received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and for all their hard work in the community.

The store manager said: "It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors this morning, the feedback so far has been fantastic.

"A big thank you to the team at Food Fact Friends Foodbank who helped us open the store today, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people."
