B&M Sets Up Brand New Ilford Store in Newbury Park

More than 38 jobs have been created following the grand opening of B&M's new store in Ilford this morning.

The 14,000 sq. ft discount store is located on King George Avenue in Newbury Park where comprehensive preparations have taken place before officially opening its doors.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, baby food and pet food. There is also a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

Colleagues were asked to select a local charity to act as VIPs on opening day, and they picked Sue’s House Charity.

As a thank you for all of the hard work they do for the local community, the charity were given £250 of vouchers.

A spokesperson from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people during these difficult times and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
