B&M Relocates to Bigger Store in Wrexham
09 September 2017
B&M has opened its latest store after completing a relocation to a bigger and better site on Central Retail Park in Wrexham.
The latest addition to B&M's portfolio in the region comes as a boost to the local economy. The store's relocation has created a further 35 jobs to the already existing 24 employees prior to the move.
Visitors to the store will be able to browse a wide range of branded and own label goods, including toys, groceries, health & beauty and pet ranges, as well as an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range.
As part of the opening day celebrations, B&M colleagues invited local charity, Dynamic, to be their VIP for the day.
The charity provides out of school activites for children young people with special needs, this can range from physical, intellectual or sensory impairments, to life limiting illnesses. The team aim to provide a lively and safe environment in which the children, their carers and families can benefit from an enhanced quality of life.
They received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and for all of their hard work in the local community, while local Mayor, Cllr John Pritchard, also helped with opening proceedings.
The store manager, Neil Howell, said: “The team from Dynamic really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local young people and their families, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “The new team have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we can’t wait to get the doors open Saturday and show customers their new B&M Wrexham.”
