B&M Relocate Oldham Store to Bigger & Better Site

The people of Oldham were delighted on the 26th of June at 8am, when their local B&M discount store relcoated to a bigger and better site.

The new store has relocated to a former Debenhams store in the Spindles shopping centre. Now spanning over 19,000sqft the renovated store is filled with an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware, and DIY.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Dr Kershaw’s Hospice mission is to add quality to the lives of people with life limiting illnesses in the local area. They hospice has multiple patient services to offer support to people and their families including an inpatient unit, wellbeing centre and hospice at home service. Their core values are to treat everyone with dignity and respect and compassion and they are dedicated to providing the highest quality, holistic care that delivers the best outcome.

The store manager at B&M Spindles, said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”

“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”

The store manager also commented: “Dr Kershaw’s Hospice really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
