B&M Re-opens Store on Bridges Retail Park in Whitehaven
22 August 2014
B&M invited some very special guests to the opening of its larger store on the Bridges Retail Park in Whitehaven.
The extended 21,000sq ft store was officially opened by the Councillor Eileen Eastwood, Mayor of Copeland alongside a young representative from the Copeland Action Group. The group was overwhelmingly nominated by the local community and received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for opening the store. The ribbon cutting was undertaken by 5 year Bradley Quaye who stepped into the shoes of the Copeland’s Action Group founder Lee Butterworth who was unable to attend on the day.
Lisa Hough, Store Manager at B&M Whitehaven Bridges said: “We’re really proud to be opening a larger store in Whitehaven, creating additional jobs and continuing to play our part in the local community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the grand opening and made it such a fun day.”
