B&M Re-Opens New & Improved Burnley Store

Burnley’s Active Way B&M Store makes way for even more savings as the store re-opened after major refurbishment works, much to the delight of local shoppers!

After a week of being closed, the store is open again and ready to trade. Following feedback from shoppers in the local community, the store team have been busy transforming the shop, bringing customers a new and improved shopping experience, as well as providing an opportunity for more jobs in a bid to boost the local economy.

Store colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity to re-open the store. The team chose homeless charity Emmaus Burnley to cut the ribbon and receive some VIP treatment for the day.

Emmaus Burnley offers support to people who have experienced homelessness. They help provide a home, companionship, stability and personal support along with an opportunity to progress to individuals and contribute to a social enterprise that supports the community.

In addition to opening the store, the charity also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers which will go towards helping the charity continue doing the great work they do.

Touching on the expansion, the Store Manager of B&M Burnley said “We wanted to make our store even better for customers, giving them even more big branded products.

“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new and improved store, the team have been working really busy and we’re really excited to get the doors on Saturday.”
