B&M Opens Store on Imperial Retail Park in Lichfield

Customers in Lichfield were delighted this morning following the long-awaited opening of their brand new store on Imperial Retail Park.
Over 50 people from the local area have been employed at the store, which contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.
As part of the opening day process, colleagues nominated local charity, South Staffordshire Mental Health Network, to be given some VIP treatment. They helped unveil the new store with the Lord Mayor, Cllr Deborah Baker.
The charity aim to improve the quality of life for people in South Staffordshire who suffer or are at risk of suffering from mental illness. They do this by providing a number of useful and self-empowering services to help users, depending on their needs.
In addition to helping to open the new store, the foundation were given £250 worth of vouchers to spend.
The store manager, Kurt Frank, said: “The team at South Staffs Mental Health Network really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
