B&M Opens Latest Home Store & Garden Centre in Carlisle

Shoppers in Carlisle were delighted to finally step foot inside their new B&M Home Store & Garden Centre.

Located at Kingstown Retail Park, the brand new store will allow locals to experience the variety retailer’s great selection of branded and own label products.

With everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet, there’s plenty of items for visitors to the B&M store to shop – it even boasts an extensive Garden Centre, stocking garden sheds and fences, decking, planters, compost and much more.

And store staff were delighted to welcome local charity Carlisle Food Bank as VIPs, who were invited to cut the ribbon on opening day. The foodbank’s mission is to provide three days emergency food aid for people in crisis, in and around Carlisle.

In addition to opening the new store, the charity also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and for all their hard work.

The store manager at B&M Carlisle - Kingstown, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door later this month.”
