B&M Opens its Doors in Spalding with Brand New Store

Dozens of jobs have been created in Spalding as the latest B&M Store was successfully opened to the public.
More than 60 people from the local area have been handed jobs inside the brand new store, with customers delighted to finally be able to buy in their favourite store.
Visitors to the store on Westlode Street will be able to browse a wide range of branded and own label goods, including toys, groceries, health & beauty and pet ranges.
As part of the opening celebrations, the team from St Barnabas Hospice were invited along as their VIP guests for the day.
The charity provides palliative and end-of-life care to local adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. The team offer a variety of care for their patients, from controlling pain and other distressing symptoms, to accessing welfare benefit advice.
In addition to opening the new store, the team will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards the charity.
The store manager, Adam Jefferies, said: “The team from St Barnabas Hospice really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for the local community, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we're delighted to get the doors open and show customers their brand new B&M.”
