B&M Opens Brand New Store in the Linkway Retail Park, Cannock

23 July 2024

On the 23rd of July B&M was delighted to open a brand new discount store in the Linkway Retail Park, Cannock.

After the doors opened at 8am, customers were excited to find all the big brands at even better prices they know to expect.

The new store is located on a previous Poundstretcher site and provides over 19,000sqft of quality shopping space. After completing extensive internal and external refurbishment of the existing store, the new B&M is exactly what the local community needed. Additionally the new store has boosted the local economy with the creation of over 40 jobs.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Cannock & District Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Cannock & District Foodbank was founded in 2012 and is a project funded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in their local area. They don’t think anyone in the community should have to face going hungry, which is why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Since opening, they have given out 238,824 kg of food to 21,775 members of the public. They continue their hard work every day to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

The store manager from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

The store manager also commented: “Cannock & District Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.
