B&M Launches Brand New Store in Bloxwich, Walsall

The B&M Bloxwich team were thrilled to officially open their new store this morning on Friday 12^th July at 8am, with help from Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank, who were given the spotlight at the grand opening.

The launch of this new store has supplied 21 jobs for local people, significantly boosting the local economy and providing the community with massive savings.

The store manager from B&M Bloxwich commented: “We’re extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

The new store now inhabits a previous Wilko, which has since undergone an extensive internal and external refurbishment programme to bring customers an exciting space covering 13,624sqft.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries and products for the best possible price, including food, drink, and pet food. There is also a fantastic selection of quality health & beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more to explore.

For the unveiling of the new B&M Bloxwich store, colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity who they think deserves the spotlight for the hard work they do in the local community. They chose the team from Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank to take centre stage and officially open the doors to the public.

Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank is a part of the Trussel Trust national network of food banks. Their aim is to get to a point where no one in their community goes hungry, which is why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Their operation focuses on three key aspects: providing emergency food, signing posting to other support services, and directly helping people find long-term solutions to their issues.

The store manager from B&M Bloxwich also said: “Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
