B&M Launch Brand New Store in Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre

B&M Manchester Arndale is now officially open, after being unveiled by Manchester Central Foodbank alongside store colleagues this morning at 8am on Wednesday 24th July 2024.
After taking possession of a previous Wilko store, B&M now inhabits a space of 21,357sqft including ground and upper floor sales, which has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme to bring customers a shop they will love.
For the unveiling of the store, B&M colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity that deserves the spotlight for all the hard work they do. They chose the team from Manchester Central Foodbank, who took centre stage and cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the store as officially open and in business.
B&M's store manager said: "Manchester Central Foodbank stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do."
Manchester Central Foodbank are passionate about tackling hunger and making sure that those in the local community experiencing food poverty are supported. They don't believe that anyone in the community should have to face going hungry, which is why they provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to those in crisis. During 2022/2023 they distributed 10,358 three-day emergency food supplies to those who were struggling.
To kick off the celebrations on its grand opening morning, B&M Manchester Arndale welcomed in its first 50 customers by gifting them with a £10 gift voucher to spend in store.
B&M's store manager also commented: "We can't wait to see what customers think of our new store and we hope that they will have a memorable experience on the opening day."
Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries including food, drink and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more to explore.
