B&M Kidderminster Relocates to Larger Unit in Weavers Wharf Shopping Park
30 May 2024
The B&M Kidderminster team were delighted to reopen this morning at 8am on Thursday 30th May, after relocating to Slingfield Mills Unit in Weavers Wharf Shopping Park. The previous store shut its tills for the final time on Saturday 25th May, making way for a bigger and better upgrade – which is also B&M’s 750th store!
Following feedback from regular shoppers who wanted a wider variety of products, B&M delivered, moving into the former Debenhams at Slingfield Mill Unit only a stone’s throw away from the old site.
The store manager from B&M commented: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”
To unveil the new store, B&M colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity to take centre stage for the hard work they do within the community. They chose the team from Kidderminster Foodbank Charity to officially open the doors and welcome customers inside.
Kidderminster Foodbank is a Trussell Trust foodbank which provides a crucial lifeline to those suffering from crisis in the Kidderminster area. They don’t believe anyone should have to face going hungry, which is why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to those who need it. They are constantly working towards combating poverty and hunger in their local area.
In addition to opening the store, the Kidderminster Foodbank team will also receive £500 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards the charity.
The new store occupies a sales space of 24,507sqft. offering customers an even bigger selection of products to shop. Customers can expect to find a range of branded, discount groceries, toiletries, toys, homeware, DIY and more.
The store manager at B&M also said: “We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
