B&M Expands Gateshead Store After Massive Refurbishment

Discount retailer, B&M, has expanded and refitted its Retail World, Gateshead store to make it much bigger and better for customers. Following feedback from regular customers that said they wanted a larger shop with even more products to shop.

The discount retailer has taken possession of the former Poundland store next door with a combined ground floor sales area of 26,705sqft. The newly expanded store offers customers an even bigger selection of great bargains from big brands across a variety of departments.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Changing Lives Charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

The Changing Lives Charity have been helping people facing some of the most challenging circumstances for 50 years. They began as a small charity, who help people experiencing homelessness through their hostels and day centres. Now they operate nationally, helping thousands of people each year to change their lives for the better.
