B&M Expands Fareham Store After Massive Refurbishment

B&M has today re-opened a much bigger and better Portsmouth, Fareham store, with over 30,904sq. ft of retail space offering a selection of premium goods at common sense prices.

The expanded store offers customers an even bigger selection of branded products to choose from, including groceries, health and beauty, cleaning, pets, gifts, seasonal products, DIY essentials and homeware. There will also be a wide range of quality electricals, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

In addition, the revamped B&M Store has also expanded its in-house garden centre to 7,919 sq. ft., boasting hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials to help customers personalise their outdoor space.

To help open the expanded store, local colleagues invited a charity they think deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community in and around Portsmouth. They chose the team from The Moving on Project to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

The Moving on Project have been providing one-to-one counselling for young people aged 11-25 since 1995. They are a local not-for-profit organisation based in Fareham & Gosport area that rely solely on grants and donations to provide their services. At The Moving On Project their mission is to provide quality counselling which is actionable and sustainable to support the young people in the local community move forward in their future.

Following the store’s re-opening, the store manager at B&M Fareham said: “The Moving on Project really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work."

The store manager continued: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we’re all really excited to welcome our customers through the doors.”
