B&M Delighted to Open New Discount Store in Bordon, Hampshire

B&M were delighted to officially open a brand new discount store in Bordon, Hampshire on the 29th of June. The new store brought a much welcomed boost to the local economy and has created many jobs for local people.

At 8am on the 29th of June the newly refurbished site opened its doors to the people of Bordon, packed full of big brands at even better prices. The site is located at a former Wilko store and now boasts over 11,000sqft of shopping space filled with top quality products at affordable prices.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust is a registered charity set up to develop the regeneration of Whitehill & Bordon. They work in partnership with residents, community organisations and local authorities to create bespoke community events, projects and facilities for the benefit of the whole community. The community trust work with the community to deliver exciting and inspirational activities, venues, and events for young people in the town.

The store manager from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

The store manager also commented: “Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
