B&M Delighted to Complete Huge Expansion of Jarrow Store

B&M is thrilled to announce the re-launch of its Jarrow store following extensive refurbishment and expansion.

Located in the Vikings Shopping Centre, the new store now offers a wider array of high-quality, affordable products for the people of Jarrow.

The new store was unveiled on Saturday the 27th of May and now boasts a bigger selection of great bargains from our ranges including grocery, toiletries, health & beauty, toys, homeware and DIY and much more!

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from The Jarrow Marie Curie Shop Charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

The Jarrow Marie Curie Shop raises funds so that they can continue their work of caring for people living with terminal illness and their families. It is a part of the Marie Curie charity, which is the UK’s leading end of life charity. They care for more than 40,000 terminally ill people in the UK a year.

The store manager at Jarrow said: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store looking fantastic for opening day, we are so excited to show customers the new & improved B&M store.” 

The store manager also commented: “Jarrow Marie Curie Shop really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
