B&M Delighted to Announce the Relaunch of Its Liverpool Switch Island Store!

B&M is thrilled to announce the refurbishment of its Liverpool Switch Island store. Now complete with a much bigger floor space to bring you the usual high quality and affordable goods you know and love.

On the 9th of September the refurbished store opened its doors to the public. Still located on the Switch Island Leisure Park, the store now boasts over 31,345sqft of great branded bargains.

The store will also include an amazing 5,359sqft Garden Centre selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials.

The new and improved store will offer customers a bigger range of products across all departments.

They can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food & drink, pet products, health & beauty, groceries, and alcohol.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Y Kids to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Y Kids works to improve the lives and futures of children, young people and their families living in some of the UK’s most deprived areas. They are actively working across the Merseyside region; providing innovative mentoring programmes, school and street projects, sports and arts initiatives, large community events, parent groups and support, and a community pantry. They also host 10 weekly clubs ranging from theatre and the arts to life skills and sport. They take a holistic approach were children come first and encouraged to help shape the delivery of service.

The store manager at B&M Switch Island, said: “We wanted to make our store even better for customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”

The store manager also commented: “Y Kids really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.” 

“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new and improved store, the team have been working really hard to get the store ready to welcome customers through the door. We’re really excited to open the doors of our new store in September.”
