B&M Creates 25 New Jobs for Locals with New Store in Kenilworth, Warwickshire

Kenilworth’s local community gave a warm welcome to brand-new B&M store which opened its doors this morning at 8am on Thursday 7th March 2024.
After taking possession of a previous Wilko store, the B&M team have worked tirelessly to renovate the unit into a 10,240sqft fresh space filled with big brands and bargains that customers can enjoy shopping in for essentials, treats and gifts.
The grand opening of the new store was presented and unveiled by the local charity The Kenilworth Centre, which was nominated by B&M store colleagues for the hard work they do in the community.
The Kenilworth Centre is a charity that works to make Kenilworth an even better place to live, learn, study and visit. They rely on income from room hire, grants and personal donations to deliver multiple family and community activities, including pop-up family cinemas, pop-up cafés and pop-up playgrounds. They also work to offer a range of activities and support systems for the isolated and marginalised of the community. They deliver cost of living events such as Community Kitchen, Music and Dinner events as well as provision for emergency food vouchers.
The store manager from B&M said: “The Kenilworth Centre really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them the spotlight as a thank you. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
Customers can now enjoy shopping at their new Kenilworth B&M store which provides the local community with all the best brands at low prices. There is a fantastic selection of branded groceries available, including food, drink and pet food. Locals can also discover unexpected bargains across other departments such as health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more.
B&M’s store manager also commented “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
