B&M Completes Relocation in Portadown
15 April 2022
The long-awaited grand relocation of B&M's Portadown store has arrived, with customers queuing in delight.
The store has now moved into the former Dunnes site situated on a redeveloped retail park in Craigavon. The bigger unit, meaning more space for excellent products at bargain prices.
The store is five times bigger than the previous with over 27,092sq. ft. of sales space, offering an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware and DIY.
The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Portadown Cares to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.
Portadown Cares helps those most vulnerable, they provide help on a practical basis and lead those in need in the right direction in relation to counselling, benefits etc.
Portadown cares also distributes donated food to local groups & associations to people in need within their local area, provide emergency food packs to socially isolated people and people in severe need and collect and deliver shopping and prescriptions to those who need assistance.
The store manager at B&M Portadown said: “Portadown Cares really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done, especially during the pandemic. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work.”
He also commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we’re all really excited to welcome our customers through the doors!”
