B&M Completes Refurbishment of Weston Favell Store

B&M has today re-opened a much bigger and better Northampton, Weston Favell store, with over 25,020sq ft of retail space. The store opened officially at 9am on Saturday 17th September 2022 and offers an even bigger selection of great bargains from big brands across a variety of departments.

The expanded store offers customers an even bigger selection of branded products to choose from, including groceries, health and beauty, cleaning, pets, gifts, seasonal products, DIY essentials and homeware. There will also be a wide range of quality electricals, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

In addition, the revamped B&M Store has also expanded its in-house garden centre to 7,386sq. ft, boasting hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials to help customers personalise their outdoor space.

To help open the expanded store, local colleagues invited a charity they think deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community in and around Portsmouth. They chose the team from Weston Favell Centre Food Bank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Weston Favell Centre Food Bank provide three days’ of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Following the store’s re-opening, the store manager at B&M Weston Favell said: “Weston Favell Centre Foodbank really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work.”

The store manager also commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we’re all really excited to welcome our customers through the doors!”
