B&M Boosts Local Economy with New Store & Garden Centre in Arundel Portsmouth

This morning at 8am on Saturday 30th November 2024, B&M store colleagues gathered around outside their brand-new store in Arundel, Portsmouth, to start their first day and welcome customers in through the doors.

The launch of this new B&M store is a long-awaited boost to the local economy following the closure of Wilko, who previously possessed the unit now inhabited by B&M. With approximately 65 new jobs created for local people, the community of Arundel can return to big brand at low prices once again.

The store manager of B&M said: "We're feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store."

In order to bring customers the classic B&M layout and fill the store with as any essentials and goodies as possible, the unit has undergone a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme before opening, providing 29,846sqft. of sales space that customers can enjoy shopping in.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food.
