Almost 100 Jobs Created at New B&M Cardiff Store
06 December 2019
Almost 100 jobs have been created in Llanishen, Cardiff this morning following our brand new store opening in the area.
Eager customers queued outside on Ashbourne Way, keen to be the first customers through B&M's doors.
As part of the opening day festivities, Latch Wales were nominated by store colleagues as their chosen charity, donating £250 worth of vouchers as a thank you for all of the hard work they do for the community.
The charity supports children and their families who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Wales. They have on-site family accommodation and also provide Social Work Service, emotional support for parents, as well as financial support through grants and holiday grants for families.
Alongside them was the Lord Mayor, Cllr Daniel De'Ath, to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
The store, which has created 90 new jobs in the region, contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.
The store manager, Adam Beech, said: “The team at Pathways4all really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
