A Brand New B&M Store Opens in Pitsea

Shoppers in Essex’s Pitsea are delighted with their brand new B&M Store, helping them to make huge savings while they shop.

In a welcome boost to the local economy, the new store has created up to 65 jobs for local people as well as helping shoppersfind a huge range of branded groceries for the best possible prices. Groceries customers can find in-store include food, drink and pet food as well as a brilliant selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more.

As a thank you to the community, staff at the new store nominated the Basildon Foodbank to cut the ribbon for the formal opening of the store, as well as being unveiled by the Deputy Mayor. The Basildon Foodbank are a charity dedicated to helping local people in crisis, providing people in the local community with emergency food supplies.

To thank the Basildon Foodbank for cutting the ribbon, they received £250 worth of B&M vouchers which will help them to continue the vital work they are doing in the community.

Touching on the new store’s opening, a B&M spokesperson said “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
