Ever Heard Of Strawbecco? This Is How To Make It

07 September 2016

What if you could actually improve on the standard chilled glass of Prosecco? You might think that it’s simply not possibly, but we know a cheeky little secret that will spice up your drink once and for all.

In case you haven’t heard yet, the latest cocktail trend is something called a ‘Strawbecco.’ It might sound a little off, but we’re certain that you’re going to love it once you find out what exactly it is. This unique and tasty recipe combines two of our favourite things – strawberries and bubbly. What’s more, this is not the type of fussy cocktail that takes hours to make. Oh no! You can create this fruity, fizzy drink in just a few minutes. Are you ready to try it for yourself?

Before you get started, you will need:

• 1 cup of frozen Strawberries

Via LiveStrong

• 1 tablespoon of honey

Rowse Honey, £1.59

• Orange juice

Britvic 55 Sparkling Orange, £1.79

• Oodles of prosecco

Premier Estates Prosecco, £5.99

Here’s how you can make a Strawbecco:

Step 1: Pop the frozen strawberries into a blender

You’ll need to use exactly one cup of strawberries to create the perfect drink. Frozen ones are ideal since they are packed with freshness.

Step 2: Add one tablespoon of sweet, sweet honey

If you adore sweet things, this will be your favourite part of the recipe. There’s nothing better than using honey as a healthy alternative to sweetener.

Step 3: Fill the blender up with oodles of Prosecco

Use as much of the beautifully delicate Premier Estates Prosecco to finish off this yummy, summer recipe. Make sure that you pour it slowly so that the bubbles don’t overflow!

Step 4: Pour and serve!

And there you have it! If you want to really enjoy this drink, it’s well worth chilling it for about 30 minutes before serving. That way, it will be simply irresistible to you and your guests.
