7 Healthy Juicing Recipes to Try with Your Blender

2016 is over and January is in full swing! Many people are trying out ‘New Year, New Me’ resolutions, and are incorporating lots of healthy foods and exercise into their diets, whilst cutting out alcohol, chocolate and fast food. Here at B&M, we all overindulged during the Christmas season, so our office fridge is stocked full of fruit, veg and smoothies. 

Speaking of smoothies, did you know that there are endless healthy blender recipes out there? We can’t get enough of juicing recipes for weight loss at the moment, so we thought we’d share some of our favourite easy juicing recipes with you. Enjoy!

 

Watermelon Smoothie

Shopping list:

 

  • 500g watermelon flesh

  • 100g raspberries

  • 150 Greek yogurt

  • 3 - 4 ice cubes 

You can’t get much more refreshing than a watermelon smoothie, and this recipe is the most delicious we’ve tasted so far! The Greek yoghurt makes it creamy, whilst still being good for you, and there’s an option to add a bit of honey too - yum! It’s also a really nice pink colour, so it would make a fabulous Valentine’s Day breakfast for that special someone in your life.

 

Banana Boost Smoothie

  • 2 bananas

  • 500ml semi skimmed, skimmed or almond milk

  • 40g ground almonds

This is one of our favourite juicing recipes for health, and only contains three ingredients! Bananas are always a good banker when it comes to making something that’s both healthy and tasty, and we think the cool yellow colour makes it look much naughtier than it is. Again, feel free to drop in a dash of honey to add some extra deliciousness!

 

Green Protein Smoothie

  • 1 cup of chopped mango

  • 1 cup of spinach

  • 2 small green apples

  • 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger

  • 2tbsp of chia seeds

  • 1 heaped tbsp of hemp protein

  • 1tsp of spirulina powder

  • 1 ½ cups of unsweetened almond milk

It you’re looking for juicing recipes for weight loss, it really doesn’t get better than this one. Full of fresh fruit and veg, this green smoothie is perfect for those who want to get serious about health, and guess what? It tastes amazing too.   • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1 cup of chopped pineapple

  • 1 cup of chopped mango

  • 2 cups of spinach or kale

Good juicing recipes for skin can be hard to come by, but we think this one really works. Made from lots of healthy, natural ingredients, this smoothie improves skin tone and boosts your energy levels too! Perfect for these harsh, cold January days.

  • ½ a green apple or kiwi

This is by far one of our favourite vegetable juicing recipes. It’s quick, easy and of course really good for you! Want to add more veg? Not a problem! That’s the beauty of smoothies, you can keep adding more and more healthy snacks to the mix.

 

Carrot and Ginger Smoothie

  • 1 carrot

  • Fresh ginger

  • ? banana

  • Lemon juice

  • 1tsp of chia seeds

This super-healthy smoothie contains beta-carotene, vitamin A, vitamin C and gingerols - all great for your immune system, so you’ll ward off those colds! Its bright orange colour means it will look absolutely fantastic on the breakfast table too!
