Sunday 26th March is Mother’s Day, which is the perfect opportunity for mums across the country to sit back, relax and be pampered by those closest to them. But how can you thank your mum this Mother’s Day, and still avoid cliches?

We’ve put together some of our favourite Mother’s Day ideas that are sure to put a smile on your mum’s face, without draining your bank balance.

Most mums get up early to make sure their brood has a decent breakfast. Well, now it’s time for that to change! Making a delicious breakfast in bed for your mum, complete with the perfect cup of tea or coffee, is the perfect way to get Mother’s Day off to a great start!

Give her a homemade card

Mums love homemade cards from their little ones on Mother’s Day, and here at B&M we have loads of products that can help you to get crafty, including:

Make a memory frame

In our experience, mums love photographs, so this multi photo frame is the perfect gift. Print out some of your favourite family images from social media, stick them in the frame and voila! You have a wonderfully sentimental Mother’s Day gift that’s cost you less than a fiver.

A nice glass of bubbly!

This one’s great if you still live with your mum - run her a nice bath so that she can relax in peace. We’re thinking, scented candles, a glass of wine and, of course, some luxury bath products so your mum can have a well-deserved rest!

Make a delicious dinner
