Stanley Multi Purpose Powder Filler.
A specially formulated fine powder filler for repairing internal plaster, plasterboard, wood, brick, stone and most other common building materials.
It is perfect for preparing surfaces prior to painting and wallpapering as it provides a smooth surface once dried. Non shrinking making it ideal for filling cracks and holes in walls, ceilings and around door frames or skirting boards.
It has excellent adhesion properties which stops the filler from slumping. Can be sanded once dry to give a smooth surface area which will hold nails and screws once fully cured. Suitable for interior and exterior use.

Reparation:
Multi-purpose Powder Filler is easy to mix and apply. For best results brush out any loose material and dust from the area to be filled or repaired. Hairline cracks should be slightly enlarged to provide adequate depth for filler penetration. Moisten absorbent surfaces with water. Touch in nail and screw heads with an oil-based paint to prevent rusting.
Mixing:
Only mix enough filler that can be used within a 40 minute period. Add approximately 2.5 parts filler to 1 part cold clean water and mix to a stiff paste in a clean mixing container. For deep cracks or holes the mix can be thickened.
Application:
Apply the mixed filler using a trowel or filling knife and press firmly into the cavity. Smooth off slightly proud of the surface and allow to dry thoroughly. Rub down with sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish. The filler will dry to a white finish and can be overpainted or papered without priming. When used outdoors seal the filler with an oil-based paint or varnish. Protect the filled area from rain and water until sealed. Do not use on surfaces regularly under water.
Cleaning: Either clean tools with a damp rag or under running water. If dried onto tools, scrape off.

If you are not happy with a purchase you make at one of our stores, simply return the product in its original condition with proof of purchase within 30 days and we’ll give you a full refund or replacement.
Customers are advised that refunds and credit notes will only be given where proof of purchase (receipt, credit card statement etc.) is provided. To qualify for a refund or replacement, products need to be complete with all components and original packaging.
Conditions apply to some products:
- Audio/DVD and computer games: Refunds and exchanges cannot be given on these products. Should any prove to be faulty it can be returned with your receipt within 30 days and we will exchange it for one of the same title.
- Unwanted food or drink products: Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore, perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.
- Personal grooming products: For reasons of hygiene and safety, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned.
- Bedding: Mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets and pillows can only be returned if they are unused, in the original packaging and in a resaleable condition.
- Plants: Any plant product cannot be returned to store.
- With faulty electrical goods, customers have 12 months to return any faulty electrical item as long as proof of purchase is provided. This could be the original receipt, however any other legitimate record, such as a bank statement will suffice.
- Any other faulty return, should be returned within a reasonable time frame with a proof of purchase provided.
This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.
